Bargain Hunter/Deal Finder/Stand Up Economist/Sarcastic Dude, Sam Pocker, founded YMMV Radio in late 2004. By the summer of 2005, Sam and his gang of misfits had saved their listeners tons. Really, food is heavy.
What is our mission? Umm. What?
We use coupons. We get lots of stuff for free. Some of it we use…most of it we give away. We’re not philanthropists and we’re not trying to make a statement. We just like to see how much stuff we can cram in our car and to see the bewilldered expression on the face of a shelter manager when you show up with a few hundred boxes of tampons or pudding…or whatever. We also have a really dark sense of humor – but you already caught onto that, right? Consumer performance art? Nah. Retail Anarchy? Mebbe. But we don’t want to move to Brooklyn. We like Queens. Call it what you want.
